The Bahia pda

Bahia 21 has created a new PDA - the Multimedia Personal Assistant (MPA).
In addition to normal PDA functions, the MPA offers video, sound, photos and games.

The Bahia pda, in conjunction with the BTK (Bahia Tool Kit), allows any user to develop a customized graphic interface adapted to individual applications.

The Bahia e Book

The rise in computing technology was to lead to the end of paper and books. The BeB is not based on the same principles as conventional e-books. It is a classical paper book, which communicates with computers and PDAs.

The BeB preserves the pleasure of paper reading while interacting with the content through a "communicating" paper and an interactive pen. It displays animation (photos, film, images, sketches), which is encrypted in the smart paper onto the screen.

The BeB is based on smart paper technology and its many applications include: education, tourism, cartography, logistics and transportation.

For example: Children are reading a book about the dinosaur age. When the reader places the pen on a dinosaur in the book, a short movie about the selected dinosaur is displayed on the screen!
